Today we start something simple. It’s called purposeful prospecting. It’s a tongue twister and it’s also a 20 daychallenge.

It’s all about relationships, because that’s what our whole business is built on. Every day you’re going to text or call 5 people you know but haven’t talked to in a while. You’ll spend 20 minutes on social media talking with people who posted something. You’ll send 1 handwritten note to someone who made your day better or someone you just want to thank. You’ll meet 1 new person and really talk with them, whether that’s online, on the phone, or face to face. And you’ll post 1 thoughtful thing your audience cares about, then answer anyone who comments back. That’s it.

Five simple things a day. Do them, and the relationships take care of the rest.
