Smarter Ways to Check In With Past Clients
Growth Picks
Have you checked in with your past clients this month? Use these 4 quick checklist tips we use to top of mind:
1. Instead of sending a short text that says “Thinking of you, how’s the house treating you?” Which sounds insincere and overused. Send them a quote from a book you read or a quote that inspired you and have it inspire them. Humanize your relationship.
2. Instead of reaching out to the past client and just saying happy home-anniversary, put up when your past clients bought and see if rates have dropped enough so it makes a difference in their payment. Send them the different options they have to refi and send them the value of their home as well. Give them value that matters.
3. Close every check in by asking if they have your directory of home service providers that you update every 6 months.
4. Text them to ask what they think about the real estate market for a change. I’ve done this one live in group coaching and it always amazes agents how much the client loves this question. It’s a set up to the client asking… “Tristan what do you think about the real estate market?”
